Training with creativity?
We have the "Advent seeks talent" campaign!

Under the motto "Das crazy", the newly crowned youth word of the year, MaßArbeit is launching this year's Christmas campaign "Advent sucht Talent". With a digital Advent calendar, the Service Centre for Schools and Business is calling on companies in the district of Osnabrück to produce short, creative videos in youth language - with the aim of getting young people interested in training or a dual study programme in the region.

From 1 December, the contributions can be seen on the Instagram channel of MaßArbeit's transition management, @uebergangsmanagement. Companies can still register and take part. The campaign makes regional companies and their training opportunities visible and shows how diverse and modern training is today. "Our companies offer young people real opportunities - authentically, directly and in a language that suits Generation Z," emphasises MaßArbeit CEO Lars Hellmers.

It is no coincidence that "das crazy" was chosen as the motto. The youth word, which has been chosen annually by the Langenscheidt publishing house since 2008, is a versatile expression for surprise, irony or speechlessness. The editorial team of the school-to-work transition management - consisting of training guides and the school-business service centre - would like to deliberately focus on the world of young people. "We want to meet young people where they are: online and in their own language. When companies present themselves with a wink and involve their trainees, this creates exactly the kind of closeness that inspires enthusiasm for training," explains the team.

Every day, the digital advent calendar presents a company from the district of Osnabrück that presents its training opportunities in a short video. "We are looking forward to creative contributions and the reactions of young people who are looking for an apprenticeship," say Annika Witte, Katja Bielefeld, Martin Möller and Stefan Loureiro Silva from the school-to-work transition management team. The first door will open on 1 December. Companies can still register at talent@massarbeit.de .
