Vocational orientation with practical relevance?
We offer strong co-operation between schools and care facilities in the Osnabrück region!
The Hermann Freye Comprehensive School in Dissen and the Haus Schlüter residential and nursing home in Bad Rothenfelde are intensifying their cooperation in the area of career guidance. With a newly concluded cooperation agreement, both partners are creating additional opportunities to give young people practical insights into social professions - particularly in the care sector.

The aim of the co-operation is to support pupils in their career choices at an early stage and to provide them with a sound basis for decision-making through concrete experience in the social sector. The school's existing careers guidance programme will thus be expanded in a targeted manner and more closely aligned with practical experience.
The cooperation is supported by the School-Business Service Centre of MaßArbeit, which networks schools and companies in the district of Osnabrück. Haus Schlüter, which employs around 70 people, offers apprenticeships to become a carer as well as opportunities to work as part of the Federal Voluntary Service.
The co-operation not only strengthens the career orientation of young people, but also the social sector in the region. The aim is to attract young talent to the Osnabrück region and ensure the quality of care and social services in the long term by providing early insights into care professions.
